Bob Proctor Explains How To Achieve Success By Changing Your Paradigm

Have you ever wondered why you look like your relatives?

Have you ever wondered why you have the habits or idiosyncrasies that your mom, dad or grandparents have?

These are good questions.

Have you ever wondered why you keep getting the same result over and over and over again?

Have you here asked yourself why individuals who have a phenomenal education (degrees coming out the end of their business cards) are not doing very well?

While others who never saw the inside of a school are earning millions of dollars, building giant organisations and doing all kind of good all over the world.

Have you asked yourself these important questions?

Have you ever asked yourself these questions?

Bob Proctor did. In fact he has spent the last 55 years asking nothing but those questions. Do you know something, “Seek and thou shalt find,” is good advice.

If you’re looking for it you’re going to find it. Bob Proctor is going to explain while all these things happen.

He is going to explain paradigms in such a way that a child could understand it, without insulting your intelligence.

Now lets think for a moment. Our mind controls everything. Dr J. B. Rhine said, “The mind is the greatest power in all of creation.”

Now, people will say, “No, God is the greatest power.” However, God is the greatest power but the mind is the greatest power in all of creation. God is the creator and the mind is the creation.

Do you know that your sub-conscious mind is programmed with something called a paradigm?

Do you know what a paradigm is?

Do you know what a paradigm is? A paradigm is a multitude of habits.

A habit is nothing but an idea that is fixed in the subconscious mind that you act on without any conscious thought.

And it’s our actions that produce are results. If we really want to get technical, it’s the action that causes a reaction. The action and reaction then alters the conditions, circumstances, and environment in our life.

We are programmed genetically and that’s why we look like our relatives. But then after birth we are programmed by our outside world.

Let’s say you were born in New Jersey USA to an English speaking Roman catholic family but you were then taken to China and placed in the suburbs with a family that knows nothing about English. They might be Bhuddist, they might not have any religion.

Do you know that you would grow up in that family fluent in Chinese and have absolutely no knowledge of the English language.

You see whatever goes in to our subconscious mind when we are children becomes programming.

Just 6 Minutes To Dramatically Increase Your Results

We are programmed genetically as well as environmentally

We are programmed genetically as well as environmentally. At a certain age a psychic barrier comes up in our subconscious mind and we develop something called a conscious mind.

Our conscious mind is hooked up to our sensory factors such as sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Also in the conscious mind we have something called higher faculties, like intellectual factors. These are perception, intuition, will, reason, imagination etc.

All these marvellous tools are in the conscious mind.

There is a power that flows into our conscious mind and we have the power to think anything we want to think.

Do you know what we are going to think? We are going to think thoughts that are in harmony with the paradigm in our subconscious mind.

The paradigm controls the vibration that your body is in

This is because the paradigm controls the vibration that your body is in. And make no mistake about it, your body is in a vibration.

Vibration is a law of the universe. The law of vibration decrees that everything moves. Nothing rests. This physical instrument t that we’re living in is in a very high state of vibration.

If you looked at it through a microscope you would see it dancing right before your eyes. In fact, if you put your body in a completely dark room in front of an infer-red television camera you’d see yourself as a glistening, radiating form.

In 1934, Semyon Kirlian, the Russian photographer, perfected a from of photography where you can photograph the body, and you will see the ray of energy coming from the body.

There is a power that flows into you, and flows to and through you. When it comes in it has no form.

You can build negative ideas or you can build positive ideas. We build ideas that are in harmony with the paradigm in our subconscious mind.

Do you know why? If the paradigm is built with X type energy, you are going to think X type thoughts.

You will never become wealthy with a paradigm of lack and limitation

If you have been raised with a paradigm where lack and limitation is common and just the way it is, then you will never become wealthy.

If you think intellectually in the conscious mind that you can become wealthy but the paradigm in your subconscious mind says “no”, then you will probably take the power the flows into your conscious mind (that you can make anything out of you want) and you will make ideas that are in harmony with your paradigm.

This is because it’s the ideas that you impress upon the subconscious that controls the vibration. If you start to impress Y type ideas onto a paradigm built with X type energy, you are going to move into a very uncomfortable vibration.

What would be a Y type idea? A Y type idea would be, “Quit your job, sell your house and invest it in a business to be your boss.”

Now, that would be a Y type idea that would scare the daylights out of most people. Why? Because it’s not in harmony with the paradigm.

Your paradigm controls your results

Your paradigm is controlling your results. You can have people with all types of degrees who are intellectually brilliant. But the results do not match.

You’ll find other people with no formal education or business experience that are earning millions of dollars.

Why? It’s the paradigm.

Think about that for a while. Bob Proctor knows what he’s talking about. He’s been studying it for 55 years. He’s taught psychiatrists, psychologists, behavioural scientists all over the world.

In fact Bob Proctor has taught it in over 100 different countries and it works like magic every time.

Do you want to know why? The whole universe operates by law and so do we.

What you need to do is to learn how to change your paradigm. Bob Proctor has a seminar that is directed at changing your paradigm, and when you change your paradigm, you change your entire life.

At the Paradigm Shift Seminar, you will discover how you can transform your finances, health, and lifestyle when you change your mental programming – your paradigm.

Bob Proctor Teaches How Embracing Loss Leads to Success

In 1951, Bob Proctor started studying “Think and Grow Rich” and it transformed his life in addition to studying the book. Bob listened to Earl Nightingale’s condensed recording of the book thousands of time. Then, Bob worked shoulder-to-shoulder with Earl Nightingale at Nightingale-Conant from 1968 to 1973, before leaving to start his own personal development company. Today, Bob has studied thousands of books, continues to read “Think and Grow Rich” every day, and is considered the world’s foremost expert on the human mind.

Bob Proctor Teaches How Embracing Loss Leads to Success

Let’s talk about something that is really misunderstood by almost everyone.

Success and Failure.

Most people think success and failure are total opposites.

However, Bob Proctor has been studying this for more than 50 years, and he has come to the conclusion that they are wrong.

He has a totally different concept of success and failure which I’ll share with you in this blog post.

The information you’ll discover will help you become more confident, take advantage of more opportunities, and reach more of your goals.

After all of his years of study, Bob has found that the line that separates success and failure is as fine as a razor’s edge.

Most people don’t understand the subtle difference between success and failure. They think they are two sides of a coin.

Now let’s take this misunderstanding of the relationship between success and failure one step further—being afraid to fail.

You see, many people are so afraid of failing or losing that they never make any big moves.

They don’t understand that failure or loss often play an important role in success and fulfillment.

By and large, given the choice, most people would rather not lose something than gain something.

However, if you’re not prepared to lose, you’ll always play it safe…

And there’s no reward in that because you’ll never discover what you are capable of.

You won’t achieve a worthy goal by playing it safe

Is there a job, an idea, or a business you would like to go after but you’re holding back because you’re afraid of failing or what you might lose?

Yes, it can be a frightening proposition to walk into the unknown. And it could lead to a loss—money, time, etc.

But think about this: The choice to play small could involve much greater losses.

Loss of confidence, growth, and unforeseen opportunities. And think about how those losses might be compounded one, five, and ten years down the road.

Are you really willing to live with that?

Adopt a new perspective

Instead of thinking of a setback as a failure, take control of your paradigm by changing your perspective. Start thinking of failures as temporary defeats.

Think about it.

As Bob mentions in the video, when you think you’ve failed at something, it puts your mind and body in a terrible vibration.

However, if you look at it as a temporary defeat, it can be a blessing in disguise.

Temporary defeats tend to bring us up with a jerk and cause us to redirect our energies along a different path.

They are nature’s way of strengthening us and giving us the courage necessary to reach our goals.

Just remember someone like J. K. Rowling who was a single mother, had been diagnosed with clinical depression was rejected by multiple publishers before her manuscript was accepted and became the first Harry Potter book.

The Harry Potter book and film franchises became one of the most successful in history and made J. K. Rowling a billionaire.

There are many paths that lead to where you want to go. Take a step and if it doesn’t work, look at it as a temporary defeat. Then, choose another path.

As with anything, viewing a temporary defeat as a blessing in disguise is much easier said than done.

However, keep the following three points in mind to help you garner the courage to stay the course and obtain the success you desire:

1. No one ever got up from the knockout blow of defeat without being stronger and wiser from the experience.

2. Advancement of all kinds is generally preceded by a crisis. The greater the crisis, the greater the opportunity for advancement.

3. There is no problem outside of you that is superior to the power that is within you.

Accept that failure and loss are unavoidable if you want to succeed in life.

Embrace each setback with the understanding that the key to winning is to keep getting up and moving forward until you reach your goal.

Do You Know Who You Are? Here’s How You Can Find Out

Do you know who you are?

This may seem a strange question to most people. But according to Bob Proctor it's one of the most important questions you could ask yourself… because not knowing could be holding you back from achieving the success you've been striving for.

Bob Proctor is a world-renowned speaker who teaches his principles of personal and financial success. He was also one of the key figures in the world-wide hit film ‘The Secret'.

In this classic video, he teaches you how to find out who you really are and how to use your answers to achieve your goals and live an extraordinary fulfilling life.

Do You Know Who You Really Are?

Unfortunately, according to Bob Proctor, most of us are not self-aware enough to walk in the reality of our vision for success. He states that not only are we at a loss as to who we really are at the deepest level of ourselves, but we also have no knowledge of how to start the process of soul searching.

As a result, we begin to look outward for the answers and signposts that will tell us who we are and how we can get to achieve the success we want. But this is counterproductive.

Below we look at what you need to know to get started on discovering who you really are and how to chart your own path to success.

1. Become more self-aware

Becoming self-aware is the first step to figuring out who you are and how to be successful. While it's true that the individual trappings, characteristics, and visions of success may differ from one person to the next, there are still common beliefs across the board as to what success is.

One of these beliefs includes being willing to observe yourself and paying attention to your thoughts. As you begin to pay attention to your thoughts you will become aware of how you build images from these thoughts.  You will then begin to see how these images you have built become replicas for the life you build for yourself.

2. Get goal specific

As you begin to become more aware of how you think, how you behave and the realities you create for yourself, the next step is to get specific. Decide what you really want. Write down what you really want and carry it around with you and read it constantly.

Begin to think about how you can go about achieving this goal or ideal while relinquishing any thoughts of why you cannot. As you begin to think about how you can achieve your goals, images of how you can bring your vision into reality will begin to pop up in your mind.

3. Get a mentor

Find someone you can go to for advice. This person should be someone who is living and embodying the kind of life you want for yourself. Lock into this person and learn from them. You can also learn from books and other useful media.

Barriers to success

1. Our early conditioning: is one of the greatest barriers to success. Our conditioning for the most part comes from our environment and the things we learn as we grow and develop.

Our early interactions help to shape our thinking and what we think is possible or not possible. Unfortunately, we are often conditioned with those things that do not necessarily benefit us.

2. Societal conditioning: defines what it regards as success and so tells us what we should do with our lives and how we should live to achieve that definition of success. The status quo as determined by societal conditioning is not always the best way to get to your point of personal success.

3. Following the masses: can be one of the worst things you can do as far as it concerns self-awareness and embodying your personal success. This is because statistics indicate that the masses get it wrong most of the time.

Most people will work for most of their adult lives and at the end have very little to show for it financially when they retire — leaving them feeling dissatisfied financially as well as on a deeply personal level.

However, as Bob Proctor shows in this video that once you start finding out who you really are, you will realise that you can use your mind for your benefit or your detriment.

Once you realise this you can start discovering what you want in life, how to set goals and how to achieve them. This can change those living a life of ‘quiet desperation' to living one filled with abundance, freedom, passion and overall awesomeness.

What Is A Paradigm And How Can It Limit Your Success?

what is a paradigm

What is a paradigm and why is so important in your life? This is a question that is answered in this short video by Bob Proctor. He is one of the greatest speakers in the world on the topic of prosperity and how to achieve it.

Change Your Paradigm and Change Your Life

Have you ever wondered why there are so many people graduating from school and university and they appear lost and don’t know where to go.

Have you ever wondered why some people, who are not really very bright, earn millions of dollars and those who are absolutely brilliant end up broke. That question has run around the mind of Bob Proctor for around fifty years.

It’s something called paradigms. Joel Barker wrote a book on it back in 1990. It was an excellent book.

What is a Paradigm: It’s Controlling Your Life

Do you know paradigms are literally controlling our life. We go right through our educational system and learn absolutely nothing about them.

It’s that little voice within that’s controlling all of us. What is a paradigm? Paradigms are nothing more than a multitude of habits that are lodged in our subconscious mind.

School teaches us nothing about how to change the paradigm. Yes, we have people graduating from college with an abundance of knowledge and they are not going anywhere.

You see, the knowledge they gathered does not equate to the results they’re getting. They are really bright but the results they’re getting indicate that they’re not very bright at all.

We are Conditioned Genetically and Environmentally

We’ve all been conditioned genetically – that’s why we look like our relatives.

And then we have been conditioned environmentally. For example, if a baby is born in the suburbs of New York and was taken to Bejing, China and put in a home there. That baby would grow up fluent in Chinese and with no knowledge of the English language.

The same result occurs if you take a baby from Bejing to New York. The baby will grow up speaking English.

Why, because we are programmed with the language we are surrounded by. But, we are also programmed by the lifestyle we are surrounded by.

Think of this for a few minutes. Do you know that all welfare recipients are third, fourth and fifth welfare recipients. Some people are going nowhere, generation after generation.

Do you know that a large majority of the people that leave prison go right back into prison. The recidivism rate is up around 80 or 90 per cent.

3 per cent of our population earned around 97 per cent of all the money that’s being earned. Have you ever stopped and asked yourself why this is happening.

Bob Proctor started asking himself these questions a long time ago. When he was 26 he was earning $4000 a year. A few years later he was earning over a million dollars a year.

He had no formal education and no business education. The change was so dramatic he was not satisfied with enjoying it. He wanted to know why?

Because he grew up with the idea, like most of us did, that if you are going to earn a lot of money you’ve got to be really smart.

But Bob was earning a lot of money and he knew he was not smart. There is the idea that if you are going to build a business you have to have a good formal education.

Bob had only two months high school but had a business that was operating in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Cleveland, Atlanta and London, England.

He was occupied with knowing why. How could he with so little formal education achieve such success in business.

What had actually happened was that he had changed his paradigm. He had changed his subconscious conditioning.

But Bob was not aware what he had done. What did he find? He had worked for some of the largest companies in the world. He had watched their sales go up by millions of dollars by just teaching people how to change a couple of habits in their life.

What is a Paradigm: A Multitude of Habits

Because “what is a paradigm“. It's a multitude of habits that are lodged in our subconscious mind.

Our conscious mind is where our intellect resides. And that’s what school, our parents or guardians are always having us work on – our intellect.

But that is not the part that controls our behaviour. The part that controls our behaviour and moves us into action is our subconscious mind. And that is where the paradigm is.

That’s where the ideas are all locked up. William James from Harvard University put it very well in 1900 when he said, “You must deposit the idea in the treasury of your subconscious mind.”

Just 6 Minutes To Dramatically Increase Your Results
Unfortunately that’s what happened to us. A lot of false beliefs were deposited in the treasury of our subconscious mind.

I suggest you ask yourself, “What do I believe?” Take a pen and write down some of your most cherished beliefs. And the ask yourself, “Why do I believe that?”

And most likely do not have a foundation for believing it. You inherited that belief. You did not originate it, you inherited it.

It’s part of the paradigm. Paradigm is culture. Culture is nothing but group habit. And group habit is right back to a paradigm again.

Bob Proctor travels all over the world and goes into, what he would refer to as, foreign countries. When they come to our country it’s a foreign country to them.

Although people look different, they sound different, they may eat different foods. But when you get past the culture, people are essentially the same.

We are spiritual beings, have an intellect and we live in a physical body. But the paradigm is controlling us.

The statistics that were referred to earlier (97 per cent of the money is earned by just 3 per cent of the population) is just as true on one side of the world as it is on the other.

You and I have the ability, just like that, to decide that we are going to be in the 3 per cent group. Now, how do I do it? That’s where the paradigm has to be changed.

And when you do that you will change your life. Inscribed over the arch of Apollo at Delphi for two thousand years are these words, “Know thyself.”

Hardly anybody understands themselves. Beyond their name, their age and their gender, they don’t really know too much about themselves.

Change your Life by Changing your Paradigm

As we start to dig inside we’ll start to see that there is a program in our mind that’s literally controlling our lives. If you study the life of most people it does not change too much from one year to the next.

But it can change very quickly by changing the paradigm. That’s what you really want to understand.

Understand that it’s a multitude of habits in your subconscious mind. As a child Bob was often asked the question, “Bob, why are you doing that?”

He would say, “I don’t know.” He was repeatedly asked this question throughout his life growing up, but could never give n answer.

Bob did not know why he was doing things he did not want to do, which were giving him results he did not want to get and yet he would do them anyway.

That’s a paradigm. Everybody’s playing the same game. You owe it to yourself to gain an understanding of this magic word.

Understand that there is a program inside of you that is literally controlling your behaviour and producing your results.

What if you had the ability to write yourself a new program? And when you write your own paradigm, that’s when you start to take control of your own life.

That is the way it was designed. You are designed to take control of your own life. To live the way you want to live. To do the things you want to do, with the people you want to do them with.

It’s a great way to live. You’ve got to get to know yourself first. Learn to control your paradigm and you will be free of being controlled by somebody else ideas.
