Using Google SEO tools for your business is a great way to increase exposure without breaking the bank. Before you go investing thousands of dollars to improve your business website's ranking, you should consider using free Google SEO tools to your advantage.
Search engine optimization is an important aspect of modern marketing. Proper on and off-page SEO can really do wonders for your business. Let's take a look at some of today's most useful Google SEO Tools.
Google SEO Tools: Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a must for anyone using search engine optimization (SEO). I highly recommend that you install this plugin into your blog/website.
Google Analytics allows you to keep a close eye on your visitors' activity. The program's library of numbers and statistics allows you to identify the sources of your traffic, which aspects of your website are working well, and which areas are in need of improvement.
If you can learn to use Google SEO tools like analytics, you don't need to invest a ton of money in search engine optimization (SEO) assistance. Using this tool effectively will ensure that your business and website are progressing appropriately.
Google SEO Tools: Google Keyword Planner
A major part of search engine optimization is keyword research. In fact, without proper keyword research, your optimization campaign will very likely fall short.
In order to improve your page rank and obtain the traffic your business needs, you will need to target keyword phrases (or popular search terms) that are valuable. These keywords obviously need to be related to your business niche.
The ideal keyword phrases are high in traffic but low in SEO competition. Needless to say, it is impossible to identify quality keywords without a research tool.
Luckily, Google Keyword Planner is also free. This tool is definitely among the most popular Google SEO tools available. Feel free to use this program to find keywords for both SEO purposes or paid pay-per-click advertising on Google Adwords and social media platforms like Facebook.
Google SEO Tools: Google Search Console
While each of these Google SEO tools is valuable and useful in its own right, these programs are increasingly beneficial when used together. When using the keyword tool and analytics, I recommend also using Google Search Console.
This specific set of tools allows you to do a number of things. First of all, Google Search Console allows you to see how Google is indexing your website's content.
It will alert you if there is an issue as well. Additionally, you will be able to see which search terms are driving traffic to your website. This will help you get a better idea of which kind of keywords to target.
Using this Google Search Console and the Google Keyword Planner tool together can be a potent combination. Consistently reviewing the statistics provided to you by these Google SEO tools will be nothing but beneficial.
If you have the right tools, increasing your exposure online is simply a matter of effort. The concept of search engine optimization is simple, guys.
Google SEO Tools: Ubersuggest
Another great free tool as an alternative to Google SEO Tools is Ubersuggest. This keyword research tool was created by expert online marketer Neil Patel.
You can take keywords obtained from Google Keyword Planner and plug them into Ubbersuggest. This will then show you all the long-tail variations of those keywords. If you're already ranking for the shorter head terms, it will become quite easy to rank for the long-tail terms. In this way, you will not have to build a ton of links or do a crazy amount of on-page optimization.
Take the long-tail keywords that Ubbersuggest gives you and integrate them into the page on your site that is already ranking for the shorter term of the same keyword. By doing this, within 30 days you should be getting more search traffic to that page.
You have to make sure the long-tail keywords are integrated carefully into the existing content on that page. That may mean adding to the content and amending it so that it flows and reads well. If you just drop the long-tail keywords into the existing content without care, you will find it hard to rank for those keywords. This is because when visitors attempt to read the content, they will not stay very long as the content will not make sense.
Always make sure that your content is unique and enticing that gives visitors to your webpage value. They will then stay longer and not leave quickly as they are enjoying what they are reading. If visitors are leaving quickly, then this will increase your ‘bounce rate' and will adversely affect your ranking with the search engines. This is because people are leaving quickly because they are not enjoying your content or finding it relevant.
This may mean having to rewrite the content to making meaningful and easy to read. You can also put some of the long-tail keywords obtained from Ubersuggest in the title and meta description of the webpage. This will also help to rank higher for those long-tail terms.
The cool thing about Ubersuggest is that it ranks keywords by how popular they are and how easy it is to rank for them. This is called ‘search difficulty'(SD). The lower the ‘search difficulty' number, then the easier it is to get ranking for that term.
Google SEO Tools: Yoast SEO Plugin
The Yoast SEO plugin is a great free tool for those people running their website on WordPress. It makes your on-page SEO much simpler. The Yoast SEO plugin will help you optimize your title, meta-description and create an XML sitemap that you can plugin to Google Search Console.
When you release new content, the Yoast SEO plugin pings Google and makes them aware of the content through the XML sitemap so that Google can grab it, index, and rank it.
Studies clearly show that a high page ranking is much more financially promising for your business, as your website will be more easily found in the search engines. Be sure to get the ball rolling by enabling and activating some effective Google SEO tools.
