The UnFranchise® Business
Have you been thinking about joining Market America Incorporated, and have you been actively looking for information on the company? You most likely noticed there are loads of “Market America Reviews” when you tried a search. Has what you've found out about the company been disturbing you? Is Market America a good company to get involved with?
On the Market America site you'll find that out the company was set up back in 1992 by a pair called J.R. Ridinger and his better half Loren. The company is a retailer of consumable beauty product offerings and health additions.
The great majority of their marketing is done online, and also by utilizing a net of marketing distributors and celebrity associates such as Kim Kardashian. Their warehouse is found in Greensboro, North Carolina, and they've shipped over $3 billion worth of goods from their high-tech facility, which employs approximately 5 hundred people across the planet with operations in Australia, the Far East, and Canada.
Why all the Negative Market America Reviews?
When having a look at the positive financials of Market America Incorporated, it is glaringly obvious that a number of these negative reviews are posted by disgruntled distributors who failed to make money with the company. Many of these supposed reviews are labeled in a negative fashion, but the titles of many of these sites are simply a hook to pique people's interest, so they can click through.
Whoever wrote these reviews quickly changes tack and goes on to say that Market America offers a program opportunity to improve people's lives and financial footing. And of course, there are Market America banners and links you can use to advertise. When a visitor clicks on the banner or link, they will be taken to a page that encourages them to join your Market America team.
There are nearly two hundred thousand distributors worldwide promoting Market America's products, and these are infrequently called “unfranchised” business owners. Since the corporation's formation, they have paid out over $2 billion to distributors, and over $1 billion has been paid in retail commissions.
Market America: Work Hard, Work Smart
As with any network marketing opportunity, many distributors do not make any money. And with any network marketing opportunity, if you don't work, you do not get paid. Any reviews you do find about unhappy ex-distributors, you may be sure that the majority did not work hard or smart enough at building their companies.
As with a lot of network marketing opportunities, Market America needs a minimum monthly purchase before your business can accumulate and be paid commissions. To get full commissions, the distributor has to buy 2 hundred BV worth of goods. Business volume or BV is calculated at eighty percent for each one dollar you spend on wholesale goods.
You have the opportunity to make some cash on each retail product sold, and also a commission for business volume sold either by you or your downline. The compensation plan is easy to understand. It's a binary plan, you recruit 2 people, and those 2 folks hire others beneath them. By balancing the “legs” of this plan, you start to earn commissions once volume requirements are reached.
Market America: Are you Marketing Effectively?
Market America Incorporated is definitely a bona fide company that has top products, has a realistic compensation plan with a global distribution system. It still doesn't mean that their opportunity is going to be excellent for you.
It doesn't matter what the sponsor tells you about Market America's opportunity, any network marketing business involves marketing not only the products but building a downline and presenting the opportunity to many people.
If you do not go out and push the products, no one makes any money. These products have to be marketed to the common public. Unless you're successfully marketing the opportunity, no-one will have an interest in joining your business.
So this is the question, what are your plans for marketing, advertising, and pushing your new business? Once you've run right out of people you know to market the product to, what will you do next?
Do you actually have any marketing or sales experience? Have you any idea as to how to market the company and its products effectively? Do you know how to drive targeted traffic to a website?
These are all basic questions you must ask because though the Market America opportunity may seem perfect, it will only be a big hit if you have the will to effectively work at it.
